How to Use the Online Ring Sizer
There are two methods for using this tool effectively:
Method 1: Match to an existing ring
Place a ring on your screen
Lay a ring you already own flat directly on your screen (or hold it just above for comparison).
Adjust the slider
Drag the slider until the blue circle on screen perfectly matches the inner opening of your ring.
Read your sizes
Your ring sizes in all four major systems are displayed immediately below the canvas.
Method 2: Find a size by measurement
If you already know your diameter or circumference, use our ring size calculator instead for the most direct conversion. Alternatively, enter your known diameter in millimetres and drag the slider to that value for a visual confirmation.
Frequently Asked Questions
The sizer gives a helpful visual reference and is generally accurate to within ±0.5 mm on standard screens. Actual accuracy depends on your display's pixel density. For critical purchases — especially for engagement rings — always confirm your size with a physical ring sizer or a professional jeweller.
Yes, the ring sizer is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. You can swipe the slider with your finger. Note that high-DPI (Retina) phone screens may show slightly different physical sizes — the tool works best on desktop monitors set at 100% zoom.
The dashed horizontal line represents the diameter of the ring — the straight-line measurement across the inner opening. It helps you visually confirm the ring's size when matching to an existing ring or your finger width.
